Public speaking is the process or act of performing a speech to a live audience. Public speaking is commonly understood as formal, face-to-face speaking of a single person to a group of listeners. Traditionally, public speaking was considered to be a part of the art of persuasion. The act can accomplish particular purposes including to inform, to persuade, to entertain, and to deliver a powerful message. Additionally, differing methods, structures, and rules can be utilized according to the speaking situation.
Public speaking can serve the purpose of transmitting information, telling a story, motivating people to act or encouraging people. This type of speech is deliberately structured with three general purposes: to inform, to persuade and to entertain. Knowing when public speaking is most effective and how it is done properly is a key part in understanding the importance of it.

For their conference "International entrepreneur Summit" (IES) in Hong Kong, INTERNATIONAL GLOBAL NETWORK (IGN) wanted a new thought-provoking and high-impact presentation, designed especially for the purpose of instigating constructive chock, creativity, and motivation among its people around the theme of supply chain and sustainability. We tailor-made our "Convergence Singularity" presentation, which was delivered timely and successfully, to the complete satisfaction of our client. The presentation recording was actually further distributed by our client to its own customer base, as a token of its appreciation for their support, which is more original than a pen or a USB.
Our client was an international construction and engineering company that wanted to position itself on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) market towards Chinese investors, in association with a global law firm. At a high-end VIP event, we presented to an exclusive audience of their selected Chinese prospects the results-to-date and achievements of China's BRI deployment, based on bottom-up research published in our book Transportation and the Belt and Road Initiative. As a token of their appreciation, our client gave to the attendees a copy of a special limited edition of our book Transportation and the Belt and Road Initiative, which included their logos and a message of their respective Chairman. We are led to understand that this promotional event resulted in successful canvassing from our client.
